Behaviour management strategies, in-school units and managed moves

Aug 13, 2021

This consultation will help inform the Government’s review of their behaviour and discipline, suspensions and permanent exclusions guidance later this year.

They have launched a call for evidence on:

• behaviour management strategies

• banning mobile phones from the school day

• removal rooms and spaces

• in-school behavioural units

• managed moves

They want to improve the available evidence and understand how they can improve the experiences of all children and young people in school. The Government also want to know how schools create a culture where all pupils and staff feel safe, wanted and welcomed and can reach their full potential.

This consultation closes at 12:15 am on 10 August 2021.
